Aalborg

Well another beautiful card from my collectsion.Sent by Npds02,and the year was 2008.So quite long ago:) But this card desrves to show it here.

It is showing the Ljm Fjord, the big boat is a restaurant.I bet it is cool to sit there and watch the sea:)I want to go there:)

Aalborg is the 4th biggest city with 122 461 habitants. The earliest settlements date back to around 700 AD. Its location by the Ljmford made it an important harbour during the Middle Ages, and an industrial centre later. Today the city is in a transition from a working-class, industrial, city to a knowledge-based one.

Switzerland

The Swiss Confederation was founded in 1291 as a defensive alliance among three cantons. In succeeding years, other localities joined the original three. The Swiss Confederation secured its independence from the Holy Roman Empire in 1499. A constitution of 1848, subsequently modified in 1874, replaced the confederation with a centralized federal government. Switzerland's sovereignty and neutrality have long been honored by the major European powers, and the country was not involved in either of the two World Wars. The political and economic integration of Europe over the past half century, as well as Switzerland's role in many UN and international organizations, has strengthened Switzerland's ties with its neighbors. However, the country did not officially become a UN member until 2002. Switzerland remains active in many UN and international organizations but retains a strong commitment to neutrality.

Grey wolves

Lori sent me this wonderful Ras card:).She knows that I like cards with wolves:)
Thank you ,Lori!
Hunting in a pack enables wolves to bring down prey much larger than themselves.Wolves were once common in North America ,Europe, and much of Asia.,in North America they ranged from the Arctic to Mexico City.Wolves now roam only about 1% of their former range in the continental U.S

Few years ago I saw a wolf too.I used shortcut through woods and there she/he was.But thank God ,I was in car:)It was in a nature reserve. And there was a asphalt road through woods...:)

Skopje,Macedonia

Beautiful tag-card from Anja(Macedonia)

This card is showing Old Bazaar in Skopje,Macedonia.

Skopje is the largest city in Macedonia. The Old Bazaar in Skopje is one of the largest bazaars in the Balkans and the largest in Macedonia. Situated on the eastern bank of the Vardar River, the bazaar has been the city's centre for trade and commerce since at least the 12th century. It rapidly grew and reached its peak during Ottoman rule, evidenced by over 30 mosques, several caravanserais , and other Turkish buildings and monuments. Although Islamic architecture is predominant, there are several churches as well.

Today, the Old Bazaar falls within the borders of Čair Municipality.

Aruba

This beautiful card was today in my mailbox:)Thank you so much Désirée(Dees)
You made my day!

Aruba is a 33-kilometre (21 mi)-long island of the Lesser Amtilles in the southern Carribean Sea, located a mere 27 kilometres (17 mi) north of the coast of Venezuela. Together with Bonaire and Curacao, it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles.

Aruba, which has no administrative subdivisions, is one of the three countries that form the KIngdom of the Netherlands, together with the Netherlands and the Netheralnds Antilles. Aruban citizens hold Dutch passports. Unlike much of the Caribbean region, Aruba has a dry climate and an arid, cactus-strewn landscape. This climate has helped tourism as visitors to the island can reliably expect warm, sunny weather. It has a land area of 193 square kilometres (75 sq mi) and lies outside the hurricane belt.

And speaking of Aruba. One of my fave singer is born there:)

Europeans might know him like this :)
